| Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri | Bölüm eğitim planı uygulamalı stüdyo dersleri ile teorik derslerden oluşmaktadır. Uygulamalı stüdyo derslerinde öğrenci-öğretim üyesi diyaloğuna temellenen ve dönem boyu süren kritik süreci ardından teslim edilen final proje ile sonlanmaktadır. Uygulamalı stüdyo derslerinin değerlendirilmesi hem söz konusu süreci hem de sonuç ürünü kapsamakta olup ders tanıtım formlarının yanı sıra; süreç ile ilgili ayrıntılar dönem başında verilen ders föyleri ile öğrenciye duyurulmaktadır. Teorik derslerde ise her yarıyılda en az bir ara sınav, bir de yarıyıl sonu sınavı ve bütünleme yapılmaktadır. Derslere ait başarı değerlendirmesinde kullanılan ölçütler (ara sınav, yarıyıl sonu sınavı, ödev vb.) ve bu ölçütlerin oranları, dönem başında öğrencilere dağıtılan ya da üniversitenin bilgi paketinde yayımlanan müfredat programlarında belirtilir. Yarıyıl sonu sınavları günü, yeri ve saati belirtilmek sureti ile Fakülte tarafından tespit ve ilan edilir. Ayrıca; Y (Yetersiz), B (Başarılı), M (Muaf) notları ortalamaya katılmayan notlar ve D (Devamsız), E (Eksik) notları geçici notlar olup, bunlardan; a) D notu derse devam yükümlülüklerini veya ders uygulamalarına ilişkin koşulları yerine getirmediği için sınava girme hakkını elde edemeyen öğrencilere verilir ve not ortalaması hesabında (FF) notu işlemi görür. b) B notu, not ortalamalarına katılmayan derslerden başarılı olan öğrencilere verilir. c) Y notu, not ortalamalarına katılmayan derslerden başarı gösteremeyen öğrencilere verilir. d) E notu, yarıyıl içinde başarılı olduğu halde, ders için gerekli koşulları tamamlayamayan öğrencilere verilir. Mimarlık Bölümünün program amacı; öğrenci merkezli bir eğitim yaklaşımıyla,
• Akademik ya da profesyonel uygulama alanlarında yeterli olacak temel bilgi ve becerilerle donatılmış,
• Eleştirel, yaratıcı ve yenilikçi düşünebilen,
• Tarihi, kültürel, doğal ve fiziksel çevreye duyarlı mimari tasarım ürünleri geliştirebilen

Bir öğrenciye verilecek yarıyıl sonu ders notu, yarıyıl içi ve yarıyıl sonu sınavı sonuçları ile yarıyıl çalışmaları ve derse devam durumu göz önünde bulundurularak dersin öğretim elemanı tarafından verilir. Öğretim üyelerinin not girişleri ortak bir öğretim üyesi not giriş sistemi üzerinden yürütülmektedir. Öğrenciler ders notlarını Debis üzerinden şifreleri ile giriş yaparak öğrenebilirler.
Harf notlarının katsayıları ve 100 (yüz) puan üzerinden karşılıkları şu şekildedir:
90- 100 arası yarıyıl ders notu olarak AA olmakla beraber katsayısı 4.00
85- 89 arası yarıyıl ders notu olarak BA olmakla beraber katsayısı 3.50
80- 84 arası yarıyıl ders notu olarak BB olmakla beraber katsayısı 3.00
75- 79 arası yarıyıl ders notu olarak CB olmakla beraber katsayısı 2.50
70- 74 arası yarıyıl ders notu olarak CC olmakla beraber katsayısı 2.00

Sınavlar ve ders başarı notları konusunda DEÜ Önlisans ve Lisans Öğretim ve Sınav Yönetmeliği ile Mimarlık Fakültesi Öğretim ve Sınav Uygulama Esasları’nın ilgili maddeleri uygulanır. Tüm derslerde bağıl not sistemi uygulanmakta olup ders geçme notu DD'dir.
Ayrıca; Y (Yetersiz), B (Başarılı), M (Muaf) notları ortalamaya katılmayan notlar ve D (Devamsız), E (Eksik) notları geçici notlar olup, bunlardan;
a) D notu derse devam yükümlülüklerini veya ders uygulamalarına ilişkin koşulları yerine getirmediği için sınava girme hakkını elde edemeyen öğrencilere verilir ve not ortalaması hesabında (FF) notu işlemi görür.

Yükseköğretim programlarının niteliğinin gözetilmesi için;
• YÖK, yükseköğretim kurumlarında gerçekleştirilen eğitim ve öğretimle diğer faaliyetlerin planlanması, düzenlenmesi, yönetilmesi ve denetiminden sorumludur.
• YÖK tarafından belirlenen kriterler çerçevesinde her yıl hazırlanan yükseköğretim kurumlarına ait “Üniversite İzleme ve Değerlendirme Raporları” yayımlanır. Bu raporlara göre hazırlanan, yükseköğretim kurumlarına yönelik nicel ve nitel değerlendirmeleri içeren raporlarda YÖK tarafından kamuoyu ile paylaşılır.
• YÖK tarafından her yıl vakıf yükseköğretim kurumlarına ait akademik, idari ve mali verileri içeren “Vakıf Yükseköğretim Kurumları Raporu” yayımlanır. Vakıf yükseköğretim kurumlarına yönelik yapılan nicel ve nitel değerlendirmeleri içeren bu raporlar YÖK tarafından kamuoyu ile paylaşılır. Yükseköğretimde lisans programlarının kalite güvencesi “Yükseköğretim Diploma Programlarının Kalite Güvencesinin Sağlanmasına Yönelik Usul ve Esaslar” a göre sağlanır:
1. Öğretim Programlarının Oluşturulması ve Onaylanması:
1.1. YÖK, yükseköğretim kurumlarında lisans bölüm ve programların açılması için gerekli olan asgari standart ve ölçütleri YÖK belirler.
1.2. Yükseköğretim kurumlarında lisans programlarının müfredatı ve her bir programın öğrenciye kazandıracağı öğrenme kazanımlarının neler olacağı, YÖK’ün bu konularda belirlediği temel ilkelere uygun olarak yükseköğretim kurumlarının senatoları tarafından belirlenir.
1.3. Ulusal Çekirdek Eğitim Programlarının müfredatı ilgili Dekanlar Konseyi tarafından kabul edildikten sonra YÖK’ün onayıyla yükseköğretim kurumları tarafından uygulanır.
2. Ölçme-Değerlendirme: Her bir lisans programının öğrenciye kazandıracağı öğrenme kazanımlarının ölçme ve değerlendirmesinin nasıl yapılacağı, YÖK’ün bu konularda belirlediği temel ilkelere uygun olarak yükseköğretim kurumları tarafından hazırlanan eğitim ve öğretim ve sınav yönetmeliğine göre yürütülür.
3. Belgelendirme: Lisans programlarına kayıtlı öğrenciler, yükseköğretim kurumları tarafından belirlenen ders kredilerini ve diğer yükümlülükleri başarı ile tamamlamaları halinde; lisans diploması alır.
4. Öz Değerlendirme-Dış Değerlendirme: Yükseköğretim kurumları, sürekli izleme bağlamında, her yılın başında bir önceki yıla ait “Kurum İç Değerlendirme Raporlarını” Yükseköğretim Kalite Kurulu (YÖKAK) tarafından hazırlanan Bilgi Sistemine girer. YÖKAK, yükseköğretim kurumlarının dış değerlendirmesine ilişkin hazırladığı “Kurumsal Geri Bildirim Raporu”nu kamuoyuyla paylaşılır. Ayrıca, YÖKAK tarafından yetkilendirilen veya tanınan akreditasyon kuruluşları tarafından verilen akreditasyon kararları da programların yeterliliklerinin kalite güvencesinin sağlandığını gösterir. YÖKAK mevzuatı gereği belirlenen yeterliliklere ilişkin düzenli gözden geçirme faaliyetleri yapar.

DEÜ Mimarlık Bölümü mezunları, hem özel sektörde, hem de resmi kurumlarda ve kamu sektöründe tasarım, projelendirme, kontrol ve uygulama aşamalarında çalışabilmekte ya da kendi ofislerini açabilmektedirler. Kamu sektöründe Belediyeler, İl Özel idaresi, Vakıflar Müdürlüğü, Kültür Bakanlığı gibi çeşitli kurumlarda; özel mimari bürolarda, inşaat firmalarında, şantiyelerde, danışmanlık ve denetim şirketlerinde veya yabancı kuruluşlarda çeşitli kademelerde (yönetim, planlama, üretim, pazarlama) her tip ve büyüklükte mimari tasarım, projelendirme, uygulama aşamalarında görev alabilmekte; ulusal / uluslararası üniversitelerde akademik kariyer geliştirebilmektedirler.

In applied studio courses, the critical process based on student-faculty member dialogue and lasting throughout the semester ends with a final project delivered. The evaluation of applied studio courses covers both the process in question and the final product, and in addition to course introduction forms; details about the process are announced to the student through course brochures given at the beginning of the semester. In theoretical courses, at least one midterm exam, one final exam and a make-up exam are held each semester. The criteria used in the evaluation of the success of the courses (midterm exam, final exam, homework, etc.) and the ratios of these criteria are specified in the curriculum programs distributed to students at the beginning of the semester or published in the university's information package. The day, place and time of the final exams are determined and announced by the Faculty. The final grade to be given to a student is given by the course instructor, taking into account the midterm and final exam results, the semester studies and course attendance. The relevant articles of DEU Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation and Faculty of Architecture Education and Examination Application Principles are applied regarding exams and course success grades. Relative grading system is applied in all courses and the course passing grade is DD. In addition; Y (Insufficient), B (Successful), M (Exempt) grades are grades that are not included in the average and D (Non-Attendance), E (Incomplete) grades are temporary grades, of which;
a) D grade is given to students who do not have the right to take the exam because they do not fulfill their attendance obligations or the conditions related to course practices and is processed as (FF) in the calculation of the grade average.
b) B grade is given to students who are successful in courses that are not included in the grade average.
c) Y grade is given to students who are unsuccessful in courses that are not included in the grade average.
d) E grade is given to students who are successful during the semester but cannot complete the necessary conditions for the course.
Undergraduate students whose general grade point average and/or semester grade point average is below 2.00 are considered unsuccessful. In order for unsuccessful students who are second and higher semester students to continue their education, their general grade point average must be at least 1.80 by the end of the semester they are registered. Otherwise, the student repeats the courses they have taken before until they increase their general grade point average to 1.80. In order to graduate from this program, the student is expected to successfully complete the courses in the education plan and other courses they have taken and complete 240 ECTS credits with a general grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
In order to monitor the quality of higher education programs;
• YÖK is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising the education and training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.
• “University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports” of higher education institutions prepared within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK are published every year. The reports prepared according to these reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.
• YÖK publishes the “Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report” containing academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions every year. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK. The quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is provided according to the “Procedures and Principles for Providing Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs”:
1. Creation and Approval of Curriculum:
1.1. YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for opening undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.
1.2. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to students are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.
1.3. The curriculum of the National Core Education Programs is implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of YÖK after being approved by the relevant Deans' Council.
2. Measurement-Evaluation: How the measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes that each undergraduate program will provide to students will be carried out is carried out in accordance with the education, training and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.
3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs receive a bachelor's degree if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions.
4. Self-Assessment-External Evaluation: In the context of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter the “Internal Institutional Evaluation Reports” of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the “Institutional Feedback Report” prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions made by accreditation institutions authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also show that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is provided. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the legislation.
