| Description | First students began to the Jewellery Engineering Department in 2011. Turkey will present innovations to the jewelry industry as a first in the world. Jewellery is an inter-disciplinary field which involves materials, metallurgy, machinery and design, mining, geology and chemical. The four-year bachelors degree Jewellery Engineering Program is based on scientific and modern technology. Programs target is jewellery production. Students will not only learn the manufacturing process. They will also learn identification and classification of natural and synthetic materials according to international norms of jewellery, development of jewellery alloys and gain the ability to research and development of production synthetic materials. | |
