Derslerini başarıyla bitiren, yeterlik sınavında başarılı bulunan ve tez önerisi kabul edilen öğrenci, tez izleme komitesi gözetiminde bir tez hazırlamak ve tezini, tez sınavında jüri önünde savunmak zorundadır. | |

İşletme Anabilim Dalı tarafından sunulan Muhasebe ve Finansman doktora programı, akademik literatürü, ulusal ve uluslararası boyutta muhasebe ve finansman alanındaki gelişmeleri izleyen; uygulamalarla kuram arasındaki etkileşimleri analiz edip yorumlayabilen, muhasebe ve finansman yönetiminde etkinlik artırıcı bilimsel çözümler oluşturabilen donanımlı genç bilim insanları ve araştırmacılar yetiştirmeyi hedeflemektedir.
- Teori, hipotez, teori oluşturma, araştırmanın adımları gibi araştırma yönteminin kavramları konusunda bilgi sahibi olmak.
- Sınıfta öğrendiği pratik yöntemleri diğer araştırmalarda da uygulama becerisi.
- Eleştirel düşünme uygulamalarıyla birlikte, araştırma sorusunu ortaya koyma ve nitel/nicel yöntemleri kullanarak sonuca ulaşabilme becerisi.

| Further Info | The conclusive success of the student is determined by the conjoint assessment of the term grades and final exam grade. Quiz grades, midterm grades, homeworks and assigned practical studies construct the term grades. Within a credit system the criteria for assessment is settled and by the course instructor. The instructor should have to settle the criteria within first two weeks of the semester. After determining the assessment criteria the instructor informs the coordinator and the coordinator announces the criteria to students. | Access Requirements | Applicants should have received a minimum of 70 out of 100 from ALES examination. A The condition to be admitted to the Ph. D program is the advanced knowledge of foreign language (english). The students who documentated an adequate grade for his/her foreign language can directly attend the interview without being tested for the foreign language. The adequate grades for the foreign language is listed by the University. Besides, the Institute admits some "special students". The special students are not candidates to have a Ph. D. diploma but they are the students who wants to follow some lectures of the program. The "special students" are not be required to get an ALES examination grade. The judgements for the "special students" are made by the Institution Board. | |
| Conditions for Success | To be succesfull ( to take at least C+ grade from all the courses) students must complete all their due courses wihtout having any F or Z grades. The students should have completed the four academic years in their enrollement with a GPA of at least 2,70 out of 4,00 and to have 240 ECTS credits. Students who have sucessfully completed their due courses should take the first qualifier examination offered. Offered on a biannual basis the qualifier has two phases. The jury makes a decision based on an evaluation of the essay type exam and the interview. The decision is based on the majority vote. | |
