- Genel veya mesleki orta öğretimde kazanılan yeterlilikler üzerine kurulan ve orta öğretim düzeyi üzerindeki dersler ile uygulama araç ve gereçleri ile desteklenen bir alandaki bilgi ve becerilere sahip olmak ve muhasebe mesleğinde temel kavramları kavradığını göstermek.
- İşletmeler içinde muhasebenin tanımı iyi yapılmış, muhasebe problemlerin çözümü için gerekli olan verileri tanımlama, toplama ve kaydetmeyi etkin bir biçimde yapabilmek; pratik uygulamalarda gereken teorik bilgileri, el ya da düşünsel becerileri kullanarak mali ve hukuksal raporları hazırlama becerisini göstermek.
- Muhasebe ile ilgili uygulamalı çalışmalarda arkadaşlarına, üstlerine ve hizmet verdiği kişi ve gruplarla iletişime açık olmak ve takım çalışması yapabilmek.
- Muhasebe ile ilgili alanlarda bağımsız olarak öğrenmeyi gerçekleştirmek ve öğrendiklerini uygulayabildiğini göstermek.
- Muhasebe içinde öngörülmeyen durumlarla ilgili sorunları belirleme ve çözüm arama yeteneğini kazandığını göstermek.
- Muhasebe ortamında sorumluluğu altında çalışanların performanslarını objektif olarak değerlendirebilmek ve denetlemek.
- Muhasebe alanında yeterli olacak düzeyde yabancı dil bilgisine sahip olmak.
- Muhasebe ortamında bilgisayar kullanımı bilgisi ile birlikte, internet teknolojileri, ofis, bilgisayarlı muhasebe yazılımlarını kullanabilmek ve kendini sürekli geliştirmek.
- Muhasebe alanı ile ilgili konularda, sosyal sorumluluk, etik değerler ve sosyal güvenlik hakları bilgisi ve bilincine sahip olmak.
- Muhasebe alanı ile ilgili konularda, iş güvenliği, işçi sağlığı ve çevre koruma bilgisi ve bilincine sahip olmak.
- Atatürk İlkeleri konusunda bilinçli ve İnkılâp Tarihi konusunda bilgi sahibi olmak.
