• Students who graduate from the program in the near future, in the field of accounting and taxation;
• To be qualified individuals who assume the responsibility needed by the sector, have sufficient knowledge in accounting and tax issues, adapt to teamwork and adapt to the changes in the sector in a short time.

Education and training is carried out in the form of formal education. In addition, students do internship in private and public institutions for 20 working days.

Accounting and Tax Applications Program Outcomes;

• Theoretical and practical knowledge about the subjects related to the field.
• Ability to use mathematics knowledge in their field.
• Basic knowledge in the fields of business, economics, accounting and law.
• Knowledge about accounting recording systematics and taxation process.
• The ability to process the books used in commercial life according to the procedures and principles in accordance with the legislation, to recognize, organize and store commercial documents.
• Ability to use package programs specific to the field.
• Ability to follow, interpret and apply changes in professional legislation.
• Ability to organize, analyze and interpret financial statements.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Turkish, ability to use a foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio A2 General Level.
• The ability to follow national and international developments in the field and to easily adapt to the innovations required by the developments by adhering to professional ethical rules.
• Ability to work effectively in disciplinary and multidisciplinary teams and to work individually.
• Awareness of the necessity of lifelong learning, the ability to access information, to follow developments in science and technology and to constantly renew oneself.
• Awareness of the universality of social rights, environmental protection, cultural values, occupational health and safety.

• Relative or absolute evaluation system is used in the calculation of the students' success grade. The Senate decides which evaluation system will be used in the vocational school with the proposal of the relevant unit board before the start of the academic year.
• Exams are evaluated out of 100 points. In converting the grade out of 100 points into a letter grade, the weights of the midterm exams, projects, seminars, field studies, quizzes, homework and laboratories and the final exam are taken into consideration.
• Measurement and evaluation principles related to the relative evaluation system, conditions for participation in the calculation of the success grade in the relative evaluation system, restrictions, their limits, success grades and other related issues are determined by the Senate.
• In the absolute evaluation system, the points and letter equivalents and grade intervals of the success grade levels are determined by the Senate.
• The assessment and evaluation system of each course is explained by the instructor in the course syllabus and shared with the students on the program website.

To oversee the quality of higher education programs;

- YÖK is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising education and training and other activities in higher education institutions.

- "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions prepared within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK are published every year. The reports prepared according to these reports, including quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

- "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report" containing academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions is published annually by CoHE. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

Quality assurance of associate degree programs in higher education is ensured according to the "Procedures and Principles for Ensuring Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Creation and Approval of Curricula:

1.1. YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of associate degree departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.2. The curriculum of associate degree programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

1.3. The curricula of the National Core Curricula are adopted by the relevant Council of Deans and implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of the Council of Higher Education.

2. Assessment and Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes of each associate degree programs is carried out according to the 

teaching and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in associate degree programs, if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions; receive an associate degree diploma.

4. Self-Assessment-External Evaluation: Higher education institutions, in the context of continuous monitoring, enter the "Institutional Internal Evaluation Reports" of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the "Institutional Feedback Report" prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions issued by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also indicate that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the legislation.

Program Admission Requirements

Within the framework of the regulations determined by the Higher Education Council (YÖK), student admission to this program is provided by the examination system conducted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Students are placed in the relevant programs by ÖSYM according to the score they get from the Higher Education Transition Examination after they declare their program preferences.

• Associate degree students have the right to participate in double major programs opened by the higher education institutions where they are studying.
• Those who have an associate degree can continue their undergraduate degree programs with the DGS exam.
