Bu program ikinci öğretim olarak da sunulmaktadır.
- Okul öncesi eğitimin gerçekleştiği yaşlar olan 0-6 yaş grubuna ait gelişim evreleri ve özellikleri ile bu yıllardaki beden ve ruh sağlığı, beslenme, ilkyardım ve anatomi gibi konular hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak.
- Okul öncesi eğitimin tarihsel gelişimi, sosyolojik ve felsefi temelleri, Türk Eğitim Tarihi ile okulöncesi eğitimde var olan ve yeni teori, yaklaşım ve kavramlar hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak.
- Okul öncesi eğitimin içerdiği müzik, görsel sanatlar, beden eğitimi ve oyun, drama gibi derslerin öğretimini yapabilecek düzeyde bilgi sahibi olmak ve bu dersleri birbiri ve diğer derslerle birleştirerek, yaratıcı ve çocukların gelişimi destekleyici dersler planlayabilmek.
- Okul öncesinde matematik, fen öğretimi verecek bilgi ve öğretim yöntem ve teknikleri ve bunlar gibi derslerle ilgili materyalleri tasarlayıp uygulayabilmek.
- Anne ve babalara çocukların gelişimi ve eğitimi ile ilgili konular başta olmak üzere okul, çocuk ve eğitim alanlarında yol gösterici bilgi birikimi ve iletişim becerilerine sahip olmak.
- Okul öncesi eğitimin gerektirdiği öğretmenlik mesleğini yapabilecek yeterli sözlü ve yazalı anlatım becerilerine ve okul öncesi dönemle ilgili yazılı materyalleri inceleyip değerlendirebilecek becerilere sahip olmak.
- Okul öncesi dönem ile ilgili bilimsel araştırmaları değerlendirebilecek ve tasarlayabilecek özelliklere sahip olmak.
- Okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarının işleyişi, yapısı, denetimi ile ilgili bilgi sahibi olmak ve okul öncesi eğitim ile ilköğretim arasındaki ilişkiyi kurabilecek etkinlikleri gözlemlemek, planlamak ve uygulayabilecek becerilere sahip olmak.
- Okul öncesi ile ilgili toplumsal sorunlara duyarlı ve bu sorunlara çözüm üretebilecek özelliklere sahip olmak.
- Okul öncesi eğitimin gerektirdiği yabancı dil, bilgisayar, Atatürk ilkeleri ve İnkılap Tarihi, Turizm gibi genel kültür konularında yeterli bilgi ve beceriye sahip olmak.
- Okul öncesi öğretmenliğin gerektirdiği öğretmenlik meslek bilgisi ile ilgili yeterli bilgiye sahip olmak.

- Having information about the historical development , sociological and philosophical fundementals of the early childhood education , also having an idea about Turkish Education History and new theories , contests and approaches exist in that.
- Having enough teaching skills about the music , visual arts , physical education , play and drama lessons which are included in the early childhood education program and planning activities which are creative and supportive for early childhood development by connecting this lessons with eachother and other lessons.
