- Okul öncesi alan derslerindeki temel kavramlar ile uygulama arasındaki ilişkiyi açıklar.

Further Info | Students’ performances on the courses of this department are evaluated in accordance with Biruni University Associate Degree and Bachelor Degree Education-Training and Exam Regulation. The process of announcing mentioned regulation on Official Gazette has been launched. Important points for the regulation are provided below: the constraint that require students with 1.99 and below grade point average (gpa) to take courses passed with DC and DD letter grades primarily is abolished. Students failing with FF letter grade in a course are required to take that course primarily during the course selection period. – Students failing with FD (absenteeism) letter grade in a course should primarily take that course during the course selection period and they have to attend the class. -In a repeat course situation, a student’s course load is maximum 45 ECTS; however, the student should primarily take the repeat courses. – Students with 3,00 and above GPA and are successful in all his/her courses, can increase his/her course load, which is normally 30 ECTS, by adding two more courses in his/her schedule with the approval of his/her supervisor. Nonetheless, it is not possible to take extra courses from following semesters. – An undergraduate transfer student (from another department within Biruni/ from another university) can take maximum 45 ECTS. Previously, if a transfer student had DC and DD courses in his previous university, mentioned courses were not exempted. However, new regulation enables those courses to be exempted. A student studying double major/minor program can take maximum 45 ECTS for his/her major and double major/minor programs. – A student’s absenteeism numbers are lowered on the condition that he/she provides his/her health report offering him/her to be absent for 5 days or above, and faculty/ vocational school administration’s approval is required for the validity of this condition. If a student’s absent days, based on the health report, excess the half of the total class hours, the student will fail because of absenteeism. – For graduation, a student should be successful in all classes and his GPA should be 2.00 or above. – The exam for increasing grades (it is for students who are successful in midterm/final exams and want to increase their grades) is only available for students with DC and DD letter grade. The grade of this exam is valid for the overall grade. To take this exam, the student should apply for it during the period that is announced in academic calendar. - One course exam (it is for students failing in one course but in graduation state). *The grade of one course exam replaces for overall grade. * Students failing in one course exam are provided an opportunity to retake the exam one month after the resit exams of the following semester. * A student can take one course exam only once in a semester. *There is no one course exam for a failed course because of absenteeism and for a course that was not taken by the student before. * One course exams are not implemented for courses of laboratory, practice, clinic practice, workshop, project, dissertation * Students failing to get enough points in one course exam for graduation can take more than one courses in the following semester/year. *If a student, required to take one course exam, does not take the exam, his /her excuse for not taking it will not be valid.Students are required to be successful in all program courses and not to have any FF grade.
