• To be able to apply preschool teaching techniques and methods in educational environment, to be able to implement educational program in terms of preschool children’s developmental levels appropriately, to be able to know the structure of Turkish Educational System and preschool education field.
• Graduates of this program, knows developmental specifications of preschool children, designs educational environment that supports child development.
• Create educational and training processes by taking account levels of students’ readiness into consideration.
• Plan different inside/outside classroom activities which are suitable for curriculum goals.
• Select the developmentally appropriate practices with the respect of individual differences, active participation, social interaction, conditions of the school and environment.
• Use teaching materials that make learning easier for children.
• To be able to work independently, to be able to organize and apply the projects and activities for social environment which they live with the conscious of social responsibility.
• To be able to determine self learning requirements, To be able to develop positive attitude regarding to lifelong learning.
• To be able to understand society, culture, social and cultural values, socializing in family and out of family, social class and cultural perspectives upon socializing, to be able to own social, scientific, and ethics values.
• To be able to have basic field knowledge about preschool education, to be able to have knowledge and information about the management in preschool education institutions, to be able to follow current national and international development about preschool education field, to be able to gather data related to preschool education field, interpret them, and transfer the results into the field, to be able to do team work in disciplines and interdisciplinary, Tt be able to take responsibility individually and as a member of group to solve the problems faced in practice of preschool education field.

There are one midterm and one final exam in every term for each lesson. Each exam’s contribution of succeed point is the weighted average of midterm exam (%40) and final exam (%60). Top point for every exam is 100. The evaluation is implemented based on the principles set forth in Article 24 of Ordu University Statute of Instruction and Examination. Grading principles for courses with special evaluation are announced by faculty member(s) to the students and the department in the beginning of the semester. Article 24. 100 is the full point in the assessment of exams. The relative weights of midterm examinations and final examination are submitted to the Registrar's Office. Based on grades and associated weights, final points are determined by the course instructor. Students who have AA, BA, BB, CB, CC letter marks are counted as successful. DD letter marks is conditioned successful mark. Students who have the mark must have at least 2.00 grade point average to succeed the education process. As featured in the table below, considering the average and statistical distribution of the final points and general class performance, final grades are given. The criteria for degree classification are: AA 4.00 BA 3.50 BB 3.00 CB 2.50 CC 2.00 F3 1.50 F4 1.50 DD 1.00 FD 0.50 FF 0.00 F2 0.00 F1 0.00 A student who holds either of the grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) is considered successful in that course. Furthermore, a student with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.00 or higher for a semester is also considered successful in a course in that semester. Grades below CC (i.e. F3, F4, DD, FD and FF) are considered to be unsuccessful. The grade M is granted for courses that a transfer student has taken earlier and the course's equivalency with the programme is approved by the Faculty Executive Board upon the request of the department.
