It is a higher education program that covers an eight-semester program based on secondary education qualifications and provides training for a specific learning field or profession.

Education and training are carried out in the form of formal, open or distance education. In addition, practical training is provided as internships or workplace training in laboratories and workshops within higher education institutions or in industry, healthcare institutions and workplaces.

Follows the latest developments in the field of Early Childhood Education; has the conceptual knowledge about the field and the ability to recognize the relationships between the related concepts. Able to measure and evaluate the different programs, instructional strategies and methods in the field. Has the knowledge of child development, learning and special needs. Able to recognize and analyze the major problems in the field of Early Childhood Education. Can generate solutions based on scientific inquiry and evidence. Able to develop appropriate teaching and learning strategies based on the developmental characteristics, individual differences of the early childhood age children while implementing a multi-faceted assessment and evaluation system in order to check the v Able to prepare a developmentally appropriate educational environments and materials based on young children?s age, developmental characteristics, interests, needs and the conditions they live in. Recognizes her/himself as an individual; utilizes her/his creativity and strong features of his/her personality while constantly improving his/her weaknesses. Develops a positive attitude towards life-long learning by effectively utilizing the ways of obtaining knowledge. As a general rule, assessment is one midterm exam (40%) and one final exam (60%) for each course. In some courses, alternative assessment and evaluation methods such as homeworks, projects or seminars are used in line with the decision of the instructor. Through the diversity of assessment and evaluation methods, students knowledge levels can be determined more qualified and they are supported to do research. Have completed secondary school education in Turkey to study in our department, or an equivalent overseas to be trained and must have received enough points from the national university entrance exam.Bachelors degree in 4 years. Conditions required for graduation: the program requirements (Total 240 ECTS) successfully complete all the courses and the weighted GPA is at least 1.80 out of 4.00.

To oversee the quality of higher education programs;

- YÖK is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising education and training and other activities in higher education institutions.

- "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions prepared within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK are published every year. The reports prepared according to these reports, including quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

- "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report" containing academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions is published annually by CoHE. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK. Quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is ensured according to the "Procedures and Principles for Ensuring Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Creation and Approval of Curricula: YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.1. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

1.2. The curricula of the National Core Curricula are adopted by the relevant Council of Deans and implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of the Council of Higher Education.

2. Assessment and Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes of each undergraduate program is carried out according to the teaching and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs, if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions; receive a bachelor's diploma.

4. Self-Assessment-External Evaluation: Higher education institutions, in the context of continuous monitoring, enter the "Institutional Internal Evaluation Reports" of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the "Institutional Feedback Report" prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions issued by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also indicate that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the legislation.

Candidates who want to be admitted to the Early Childhood Education program must have a valid secondary education degree (or equivalent approved by the Council of Higher Education)

Program graduates may be employed as a teacher at public and private child care facilities, public school kindergarten classrooms (all supervised by the Turkish Ministry of National Education) and other child care facilities (Crèches and Preschools) governed by public and private organizations. Graduates who want to further their education may apply to our graduate programs which offer masters and doctorate degrees.
