Optisyenlik programı, optik müesselerinin açılması için gerekli olan optisyenlik teknikeri diplomasının yanında bu müesselerin yürütülmesi ve geliştirilmesi hususunda gerekli bilgi ve beceriye sahip bireyler yetiştiren bir programdır.
Tam burslu eğitim sağlamaktadır.
- Optisyenlik mesleği ile ilgili kuramsal ve uygulamalı bilgi donanımına sahiptir. Optisyenlik terminolojisi, sağlık mevzuatı, sağlık hukuğu konularında bilgi ve donanımına sahiptir. Optisyenlik mesleğini etik kurallar çerçevesinde, görev ve sorumluluklarını yerine getirerek icra eder. Program mezunları, özel sektörde optisyenlik müesseselerinde mesul müdürlük yapabilirler ya da bir Optisyenlik müessesesi açma hakkına sahip olurlar.
- Temel epidemiyolojik kavramları öğrenme ve mesleki uygulamalarda bu kavramları uygun biçimde kullanabilme. Optisyenlik konusunda, mesleki yetki ve sorumlulukları hakkında bilgi sahibidir.
- Gözlük, kontak lens ve az görme cihazları (teleskopik ürünler vb.) gibi temel görme cihazlar hakkında bilgilere sahiptir.
- Temel görme cihazlarının reçeteye göre seçimi, satışı ve hazırlanmasıyla kullanıcıya adaptasyonunu sağlayabilme.
- Numaralı gözlük camlarını ve kontak lenslerin diyoptrisini ölçebilme ve bunların montajı için gerekli ayarları yapabilme.
- Göz, Göz Anatomisi, Göz Fizyolojisi, Göz Hastalıkları, Görme Sağlığı ve Genel Halk Sağlığı alanlarında temel bilgilere sahip olabilme.
- Temel optik aletler hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olabilme.
- Genel ve mesleki yazılım programlarını, hastane otomasyon sistemlerini kullanabilme.
- Özel gözlüklerin yapımı kullanımı hakkında bilgilendirme yapabilir.
- Müşteri ile ilgili sorunları çözebilme mesleki bilgilendirme yapabilme.
