| Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri | Orman Endüstri Mühendisliği Bölümü 1992 yılında kurulmuştur. 2005-2006 eğitim ve öğretim faaliyetlerine başlamıştır. Bölümün Ana Bilim Dalları; Orman Biyolojisi ve Odun Koruma, Orman Ürünleri kimyası ve Teknolojisi, Orman Endüstri Makinaları ve İşletme, Odun Mekaniği ve Teknolojisi dir. Orman Endüstri Mühendisliği Lisans Programında zorunlu teorik ve uygulamalı derslerinin yanısıra teknolojik ve bilimsel metodlar hakkında 3. ve 4. sınıflarda seçmeli dersler de sunulmaktadır. Program Temel Orman Endüstri Mühendisliği derslerini dört yıllık zaman süresince verip, teorik ve uygulama dersleri birlikte yürütülmektedir. Son sınıfta öğrenciler, bir öğretim üyesinin danışmanlığında bitirme projesi hazırlayarak, bağımsız olarak bir araştırmanın nasıl yapılacağını öğrenmektedir. | |

- Ahşap ve ahşap esaslı malzemeleri kullanarak mobilya ve yapı elemanlarının mühendislik tasarımlarını yapabilmek.

| Further Info | The education program of Department of Forest Prodcuts Engineering meets the expectations of forest products industry and provide basic information related to the forest ındustry sectors. The undergraduate curriculum emphasizes communication, problem-solving and technical skills. The curriculum constructed to achieve these objectives contain courses in the field of wood mechanics and technology, wood protection, forest products chemistry and technology and machineries of forest industry, and additional courses such as computer applications, business management and behavioural sciences. In addition to compulsory courses, the students are given the chance of taking courses from the list of elective courses based on their own preferences, which makes the programme flexible from the students' perspective. This enables the department to educate forest prodcuts engineers who have the competency to work individually or in groups to identify wood science and technology problems, find solutions for them and apply them with an ethical responsibility. | |
