Program Profili (Amaç)

Kas-iskelet sistemi rahatsızlıklarının tedavisinde sıklıkla kullanılan ortopedik protez ve ortezlerin planlanması, üretimi ve uygulanmasını sağlayacak protez ve ortez uzmanı yetiştirmek programın ana hedefidir. Bunun yanında, ortopedik protez ve ortez bölümü mezunlarının, kamu ve özel sağlık kuruluşlarının Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji ya da Fizik Tedavi ve Rehabilitasyon kliniklerinde yardımcı eleman olarak çalışabilmeleri için gerekli nitelikleri elde edebilmeleri hedeflerimiz arasındadır.

Ortopedik protez ya da ortez gereksinimi olan hastaların değerlendirilmesi, problemin tespiti, hastaya uygulanacak ortez ya da protez için ölçü alma, üretim, malzemenin hastaya uygulanması ve uygulanan protez ya da ortezdeki muhtemel sorunlarının giderilmesini sağlar.Mezunlar Ortopedik protez ve Ortez atölyeleri açabilecekleri gibi, sektörde çalışabilirler ya da kamu ve özel hastanelerin Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji kliniklerinde istihdam edilebilmektedirler.

Students havethey are subject to a final examination except for the exams they have taken or their work. Students are required to take at least one midterm exam each semester.Criteria to be taken into account in evaluating students achievement (midterm, homework, practice, final exam etc.) and their ratios, termIt is indicated in curriculum programs distributed to students at the beginning or published on the website. Final examinations are held on the dates announced by the University at the specified time and place. Students final grade success grades; midterm examinations, final exam grades and studies carried out during the semester and course attendance rules are given by the instructor responsible for the course. Access Requirements

In order to register the program, it is necessary to be successful by taking the determined base score in the exams organized by OSYM. Domestic or foreigna student who is studying in an equivalent program can apply for a horizontal transfer if the university opens the quota. Student acceptance,the evaluation of the achievement status of the students who apply to the applicant is the end result. Approved by the University and bound by an agreementStudents who come from abroad within the scope of designated student exchange programs may register. Students are required to certify English Language Proficiency in order to register for the program. International students are accepted on the basis of their internationally validated SAT, ACT, or secondary school graduation notes in the framework of the International or Foreign Student Application, Admission and Registration Directive .
