- Yapı parçalarını birleştirir, söker ve yeniler.
- Ortopedik protez ve ortez yapım ve uygulama hizmetlerinin yürütülmesinde atölye sarf ve demirbaş malzemeleri temin eder, bakımı ve onarımını yaptırır, uygulanacak protez ve ortezin hijyenini sağlar.
- Ortopedik Protez ve Ortez `de edindiği temel düzeydeki bilgi ve becerileri kullanarak protez veya ortez ile ilgili sorunları tanımlar, analiz eder ve çözüm için öneriler getirebilir.

- Mesleği ile ilgili kurslara, seminerlere ve kongrelere katılmak, alanla ilgili yazılı ve görsel medyayı takip etmek suretiyle yaşam boyu öğrenme bilincine sahiptir.
- Ortopedik Protez ve Ortez ile ilgili uygulamalarda karşılaşılan ve öngörülemeyen karmaşık sorunları çözmek için ekip üyesi olarak çalışır.
- Hazır ortopedik mamulleri ve meme protezini hasta üzerine uygular, yarı hazır mamulleri hasta üzerine uyarlar, yardımcı cihazları hastaların kullanımına uygun hale getirir.
- Hekim eşliğinde dışarıdan stabilizasyon için ön hazırlığı yapar, yumuşak ve alçı sargı yapar, pozisyonlama yapar, dışarıdan yapılan stabilizasyonu çıkarır. Olası yan etkileri kontrol eder ve hastayı bilgilendirir.
- Ortezin (Kısa ve uzun yürüme cihazları, tabanlık, tıbbi (korse) ölçüsünü alır ve yapımını tamamlar
