Bu açıdan özel güvenlik hizmet alanlarının başta iş merkezleri, konaklama yerleri, sağlık kuruluşları, eğitim ve öğretim kurumları, müzeler, tören yerleri, toplu konut alanları, hava meydan ve limanları ile deniz limanları, metrolar, gar ve terminaller, sanayi ve ticari işletmeler olmak üzere baraj, enerji santralleri, rafineri, enerji nakil hatları, radyolink istasyonları, görüntü ve ses verici istasyonlar, akaryakıt nakil, depolama, yükleme tesisleri, nehir, göl ve deniz kıyıları, orman alanları, her türlü spor müsabakaları, sahne gösterileri ve toplantıların yapıldığı açık ve kapalı mekânlarda olmak üzere yoğunlaşmaktadır. Mezunlar kendi nam ve hesaplarına özel güvenlik şirketleri kurup işletebilecekleri gibi çeşitli özel güvenlik şirketlerinde de çalışabilir ve eğitmenlik yapabilirler. Kamu kesimi ve özel sektördeki kurum ve kuruluşların güvenlik hizmetlerinin alt yapısında veya yönetiminde görev alabilirler. Mezunlarımız, Türkiye’nin her yerinde yukarıda bahsedilen çalışma sahalarında istihdam edilebilmektedir. Aynı zamanda KPSS-B ile yapılan memur alımlarında, “güvenlik memuru kadrosu” tercihlerinde ön lisans mezunu şartı arandığından dolayı bu kurumların kapısı program mezunlarına açık bulunmaktadır. Bu programdan mezun olacak öğrenciler bölgedeki resmi veya özel kuruluşlarda çalışabilecekleri gibi, kendi işyerlerini işletebilmektedirler. Türkiye genelinde, özel olarak çalışan ve kısa dönem eğitim veren çok sayıda şirketler bulunmaktadır. Ancak, kaliteli eğitimden geçirilmiş özel güvenlik görevlilerinin ileride, yasa gereği, işyerinde güvenlik amiri ve müdürü olma durumu söz konusu olabilecektir.
