Ham başarı notu; ara sınav not ortalamasının % 40’ı ile yarıyıl veya yıl sonu sınav notunun % 60’ının toplanması sonucu elde edilir. Başarı notu değerlendirmesi, öğrencinin yarıyıl içi çalışmalarında gösterdiği başarı düzeyi, ham başarı notu ile birlikte sınıfın genel başarı düzeyi de göz önünde bulundurularak, notların dağılımı ve sınıf ortalaması da dikkate alınarak yapılır. Bu değerlendirme sonunda, her öğrenciye dersi veren öğretim elemanı tarafından harf notu olarak yarıyıl sonu veya yıl sonu başarı notu verilir. Öğrencinin programdaki tüm derslerini başarmış olması, FF, FD ya da YS notunun olmaması gerekir.
