• Based on the theoretical knowledge acquired at the undergraduate level, this information to improve the level of expertise in the field of private law and to understand the interaction between disciplines.
• Formation of new knowledge via combination of theoritic-practical knowledge in private law and different disciplines' knowledge; solving problems, especially which are submitted to the jurisdiction, through scientific methods of research.
• Obtaining an ability to constitute new ideas through combination of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of private law and knowledge coming from different disciplines.
• An ability to reach national and international law resources and to use these resources for concrete cases.
• Learning to examine cases with an interdisciplinary approach, obtaining a conscience of life long learning necessity and an ability to make real this, using this ability to be interested in current legal disputes and have knowledge about these disputes.
• In the light of the universal principles of law, obtaining an ability to think critically and to provide solutions to social and legal problems.
• Creating original treatises in the field of private law under favour of an acquired work discipline, professional and ethical sense of responsibility.
• Obtaining an ability to present effectively claims and defenses that can be done about a legal dispute in front of the competent authorities.
• Obtaining an ability to explain a legal issue, by giving a different opinion in the doctrine and jurisprudence systematically and to reveal justifiedly their personal views.
• Acquiring abilities of conceptual thinking and interpretation of conceptual and practical knowledge, conversion this ability to talent for determination of legal disputes, analysis and determination of necessary legal regulations in terms of dispute resolution.

For the courses are done, at least, one midterm and one final exam. Research and investigation assignments on a course of education can be also considered as a separate exam. The students can be considered successful; 40% of the midterm exam and 60% of the final exam grade must totally be at least 65 point. However, students must obtain at least 65 out of 100 in the final exam.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree that is adopted by the institute eligibility with this program. Applicants must have 55 points at least from the ALES which is made centrally by OSYM. In admitting students to graduate programs, if necessary, in addition to ALES score, undergraduate grade point average (GPA) and interview results can be assessed. Matters related to this evaluation, other documents required to ensure that candidates, how to get ALES score (50% no less) as the assessment weight, what will be the lower limit of the entry grade, is determined by the recommendation of the committee and the Senate's approval. It can be admit by the Senate decision students who just have ALES score. Undergraduate students who have degree first in class from a main art/science departments that is connected to the Institute can be placed in the program providing at least 55 score for ALES when they want to do master. More than one first degree students can not be register at the same period to the main art/science depermant. In the determining of first degree students, formal/organized education and evening education are evaluated together, and the candidate who has higher GPA is placed the program. The regulations on this are determined by the Instiute Committee.

Students who graduate from our department can take some of positions like notary, independent lawyer or a corporate attorney (in private or public enterprises), administrative supervisor (district governor, governor), teaching staff, judge or prosecutor. In addition, alumni can work as a public servants, experts in the various institutions and organizations, legal advisers.
