Seminer ve tez çalışması yerel kredi sistemine göre kredisiz olup başarılı veya başarısız olarak değerlendirilir. Derslerini başarı ile tamamlayan öğrenci tez önerisini Enstitü Yönetim Kurulunda sunar. Öğrenci, tezi ile ilgili elde ettiği sonuçları, ilgili enstitünün tez yazım kurallarına uygun biçimde yazmak ve tezini tez sınav jürisi önünde sözlü olarak savunmak zorundadır. Tez sınavının tamamlanmasından sonra jüri tez hakkında salt çoğunlukla kabul, ret veya düzeltme kararı verir. Tezi başarılı bulunan öğrencinin ciltlenmiş halde tezini Enstitüye teslim etmesi gerekir. - Tıbbi Parazitoloji alanında lisans ve lisansüstü eğitim programlarında edindiği teorik ve pratik bilgileri kullanabilme,
- Tıbbi Parazitoloji alanıyla ilgili bir araştırmayı bağımsız olarak yürütebilme ve sonuçları değerlendirebilme,
- Tıbbi Parazitoloji alanıyla ilgili bireysel araştırmaları ve güncel gelişmeleri yazılı ve sözlü olarak sistemli bir şekilde aktarabilme,
- İnsanlarda enfeksiyon ve enfestasyona neden olan parazitlerin temel özelliklerini tanımlayabilme ve başlıca mekanizmalarını açıklayabilme,
- İnsan sağlığı açısından önem taşıyan parazitlerin bulaşma ve korunma yollarını değerlendirebilme,
- Çeşitli parazitlerin üretilebildiği ortamların genel özelliklerini bilme, besiyerlerini laboratuvarda hazırlayabilme,
- Parazitlerin tanımlanmasında mikroskobik tanı yöntemlerini uygulayabilme ve sonuçlarını değerlendirebilme,
- Parazitlerin tanımlanmasında kullanılan boyama yöntemlerini uygulayabilme ve sonuçlarını değerlendirebilme,
- Parazitlerin tanımlanmasında kullanılan serolojik tanı yöntemleri uygulayabilme ve sonuçlarını değerlendirebilme,
- Antiparaziter ilaçların temel ve moleküler etki mekanizmalarını ve gelişen direnç mekanizmalarını kavrayabilme,
- Bağışıklık sisteminin temel elemanlarını ve işleyişini açıklayabilme, bu sistemin paraziter hastalıklardaki rolünü değerlendirebilme,

| Further Info | For the examinations and pass grades, respective articles of the ByLaw of Fırat University on Post-Graduate Studies and Examinations and Senate decisions shall be applied.In order to obtain Masters Degree in Medical Parasitology, students must successfully complete all required core and field compulsory courses in the program, complete the seminar course and receive a total of at least 120 ECTS. The seminar and thesis work is non-credit based on local credit system and is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. Upon successful completion of the course, the student submits the thesis proposal at the Institute Executive Board. The student must write the results of the thesis in accordance with the thesis writing rules of the related institution and defend his thesis verbally in front of the thesis examination jury. After the completion of the thesis examination, the jury decides acceptance, rejection or correction of the thesis by absolute majority. The successful student must submit his dissertation to the Institute in bounded form. The Board of Directors of the Institute is entitled to gain title by decision. | |
