- Diş hekimliği ile ilgili etik kurallar hakkında bilgi sahibi olup, mesleğini icra ederken kişisel ve mesleki dürüstlük, güvenilirlik özelliklerini sergiler.
- Dil, kültür, cinsiyet, ırk ve mevki farkı gözetmeksizin hasta ve meslektaşlarına saygılı olmanın eğitimini alır.
- Diş hekimliğinde kullanılan biyomateryaller, restoratif materyal ve teknikler hakkında bilgi sahibi olup, kullanımlarıyla ilgili sınırlamalar ve yaratabileceği çevre problemlerinin bilincindedir.
- Hastanın sistemik şikayeti ile ilgili bir sorunun aydınlatılması için uygun tıbbi konsültasyonun hazırlanması veya hastanın bir uzmana gönderilmesi işlemlerini başlatabilecek yeteneğe sahiptir.
