To give students the ability to understand and observe human as an integrated being with behavioural, cognitive, emotional, social, biological and cultural aspects.Program aims to give students insight of where psychology lies as an scientific inquiry and how psychology handles with behavioural, cognitive, emotional, social, biological and cultural processes in its historical context.To know the basic theoretical approaches in subfields of psychology, and to be able to synthesise theseProgram aims to equip students with required theoretical and statistical knowledge which will enable them to make scientific research on psychology.Program aims to make students familiar with basic knowledge of the related fields (e.g. biology, sociology, philosophy, mathematics, antrophology, economics, etc.), and to make them able to utilize that knowledge when it is required.Program aims to give students required knowledge on statistics and research methods, which serve a basis for students to fdrm experiments and various research designs with the help of related softwares and computer skills.Program aims to give students skills and abilities in order to observe, analyze, and intervene a psychological phenomenon.To be able to apply acquired knowledge and skills at both local and cultural levels for to contribute scientific development.To be able to work for increasing life standards of the society in the light of local and universal needs.To have social responsibility and respect for the universal human rights, and internalize ethical standards of the profession

Testing and evaluation methods implemented in the courses are defined in the “Course Instructional Plan” which takes place in the information package. Universitys general student acceptance rules are applied. Additionally, undergraduate students who meet the necessary conditions presented below may apply for undergraduate transfer to our department:- being enrolled to an undergraduate program with the medium of English,- having at least 3.00/4.00 or 76.66/100 CGPA

Graduates of Psychology can work in public institutions, private sectors and have opportunity to work as freelance.In public sector graduates can work in the following places: At Health institutions (Hospitals, Public Health Centers etc.), At courts and penal facilities of the Ministry of Justice, At facilities or projects for the disabled, elder, socially disadvantaged groups under the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, At schools or guidance centers of the Ministry of Education. Additionally, can work as school psychologists after taking relevant certificates. At various departments within police and military. In the Private Sector: Psychological assessment centers, Psychotherapy and mental health institutions, Preschools, Special education and rehabilitation centers, Private education institutions, Human resource departments, Public relations departments, Advertising agencies, Marketing and research centers.As freelance, with the latest legal regulations, psychology graduates can work freelance as clinical psychologists, or family therapists after completing some additional degrees or certificates.
