- İletişimin ulusal, uluslararası, toplumsal ve kültürlerarası boyutlarını tanır.
- İletişim alanı ile ilgili kuram, yöntem, strateji ve tekniklere ilişkin bilgiye sahiptir.
- İletişim ortam ve araçlarını yetkin bir şekilde kullanabilme bilgisine sahiptir.
- Kişi, grup, kitle ya da kurumların iletişim özelliklerini, ihtiyaçlarını ya da farklılıklarını dikkate alarak uygun iletişim strateji, yöntem ve teknikleri geliştirir ve uygular.
