| Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri | Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık Bölümünün temel hedefi; verilen eğitimde geleceğin psikolojik danışmanlarının ve rehber öğretmenlerinin eksiksiz ve uluslar arası düzeyde yetiştirilmesi hedefini gözetmektedir. Program kapsamında verilen dersler kabaca, psikolojiye giriş, bireysel farklılıklar, psikolojide ekoller ve kuramlar, psikolojik danışma ilke ve teknikleri, okullarda rehberlik hizmetleri, bireyle psikolojik danışma ve psikoterapi, davranış bilimleri, öğrenme psikolojisi, gelişim psikolojisi gibi derslerdir ve bu dersler teorik ve uygulamalı olarak yürütülmektedir. Program dahilinde, kişiler arası iletişimde kişilere yardım etme, kişilerin ruhsal, duygusal sıkıntıları ile baş etmeleri, okul başarısızlığı, sınav kaygısı, girişkenlik yetersizliği, psikoterapi ilke ve teknikleri, kişilerle psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik süreçlerini yürütebilme becerisine sahip rehberlik ve psikolojik danışmanlık lisans mezunu olarak kanunların sağladığı tüm yetki ve sorumlulukları taşıyan mezunlar yetiştirmektedir. Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık Bölümü, iç ve dış etkinliklerini ve görevlerini, çizdiği vizyon çerçevesinde bağlı olduğu dekanlık ve üst kuruluş olarak rektörlük üzerinden yürütür. Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık Bölümü, öğrencilerini Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlığın kullandığı birçok alanda istihdam edecek şekilde yetiştirir. Rehberlik ve Psikolojik Danışmanlık Bölümü geleceğin psikolojik danışmanlarının ve rehber öğretmenlerinin eksiksiz ve uluslar arası düzeyde yetiştirilmesi hedefini gözetmektedir. | Giriş Şartı | Türkiye Cumhuriyeti üniversitelerinde eğitim ve öğretim görmek isteyen lise mezunu öğrencilerin YGS (Yüksek Öğretime Geçiş Sınavı) ve LYS (Lisans Yerleştirme Sınavı) sınavlarından yeterli puanı almaları gerekmektedir. Öğrencilerin tercih işlemelerine göre yerleştirmeler ÖSYM (Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi) tarafından yapılmaktadır. | Further Info | The goal of the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Programme is, through the education given, to develop successful psychological counselors and guidance, within the international basis. Within the programme, abruptly, the courses are, introduction to psychology, individual differences, techniques and principles of psychological counseling, learning psychology, guidance in schools, individual counseling and these courses are carried on theoretical and practical. Within the programme graduates are developed which are qualified to deal with problems such as problematic interpersonal relationships, emotional and psychological problems, hardships at schools. Those graduates have all the responsibilities and authorization in performing guidance and psychological counseling with people. Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department carries on in and outside activities and events via the deanship and rectorate. Apart from its goal to give the absolute education, the programme also aims to enhance the students’ different point of views, enlarge their vision and support them socially and cultural. | |

| Access Requirements | In Turkey it is necessary that students to pass the YGS (Transition to Higher Education Examination) and LYS (Undergraduate Placement Examination). The only way to enter a program in University is through these tests’ scores. The students make choices in order of preference to be admitted to the programs they want to attend and send their preference form to ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center). Then the students have to provide the necessary documents and register on the mentioned dates. For the foreign students, the criteria of ÖSYM and of the quota that the university determined are taken into consideration. | |

- Explains the knowledge about the theories, approaches and basic concepts of psychological counseling and guidance.
- Explains the knowledge about the services, restraints and the associations with the other disciplines of the psychological counseling and guidance.
- Explains the importance of working by taking into consideration of the ethic rules and legal arrangements in terms of human rights and vocational ethics.
- Acknowledges Turkish National Educational system and the services of psychological counseling and guidance within this current system.
- Be able to use all the knowledge and skills which are necessary for establishing, lasting and ending the professional psychological counseling relationship with the individuals.
- Be able to supply group or individual psychological counseling services, in the fields of vocational, individual and social, to the different age ranges and target audience, according to the needs.
- Arrange and apply orientation programs considering the needs of the individuals.

- Uses the communication and information technologies (web sites, e-mail, and conference video - telephones calls… etc) in order to follow the updates and to increase the effectiveness of the psychological counseling and guidance services.
- Provides the teachers consultancy for the conduction of the guidance services.
- Collaborates with the other colleagues, parents and the institutions in order to increase the effectiveness of the psychological counseling and guidance services.
- Follows the current information, sources, up-to-dates, conferences, seminars, workshops and activities.
