| Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri | Bu program İngilizce olarak da eğitim vermektedir. Üniversitemize 2009 ve öncesinde kayıt olan öğrencilere ve 2010 ve sonrasında kayıt olan öğrencilere uygulanan iki tür yönetmelik bulunmaktadır (Yönetmelik 1-Y1; Yönetmelik 2-Y2): Programda mevcut olan (toplam 240 AKTS) derslerin tümünü başarıyla tamamlamak için 2009 ve öncesi girişli öğrenciler 100 üzerinden 50 ve 2010 ve sonrası girişli öğrenciler ise 4.00 üzerinden en az 2.00 ağırlıklı not ortalaması elde etmek zorundadırlar. Öğrencilerin mezun olabilmeleri için öğretim programlarında öngörülen tüm derslerden en az DD notu alarak başarılı olmaları gerekmektedir. | |

| Giriş Şartı | Yükseköğretim Kurumu (YÖK) tarafından belirlenen yönetmelikler çerçevesinde, bu programa öğrenci kabulü Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme (ÖSYS) Merkezi tarafından yapılan sistem ile olmaktadır. Öğrenciler, öğrenim görmek istedikleri program tercihlerini bildirdikten sonra, bu sınavdan aldıkları puana göre bu merkez tarafından ilgili programlara yerleştirilmektedir. Yabancı uyruklu öğrenciler, bu programa uluslararası geçerliliği olan SAT, ACT gibi sınav sonuçlarıyla ya da ortaöğretim mezuniyet notlarına göre kabul edilmektedir (Önlisans ve Lisans Programları Yabancı Uyruklu Öğrenci Kabul Yönergesi). Genel Akademik Değişim Protokolü olan programlara öğrencilerin kabulü, Maltepe Üniversitesi ile işbirliği yapılan (partner) üniversite arasında imzalanan ikili anlaşmalar (ERASMUS, FARABİ, vb. gibi.) çerçevesinde yapılmaktadır. - Uyguladığımız programın amacı ülkemizi ve kültürümüzü öbür dünya ülkeleri ve kültürleri arasında hakkı ile temsil edebilecek, özgür düşünceli, araştırıcı, sorgulayan, kendisine ve dünyaya eleştirel bir gözle bakan, alanında gerekli bilgi birikimine sahip, ulusal ve uluslar arası literatürü izleyerek kendisini geliştiren, çağdaş öğretim yöntemlerini uygulayan ve bu doğrultuda öğrencilerine örnek olan bilinçli bir insan, ulusuna ve tüm insanlığa yararlı bir birey yetiştirmektir.

Foreign students are admitted to the related programmes with the scores of internationally acceptable exams such as SAT, ACT or are admitted to the related programmes with their high school graduation grades (Undergraduate and Graduate Programmes for Foreign Students Admission Guidelines). The admission of students of General Academic Exchange Protocol to the related programmes are done within the framework of the bilateral agreements (ERASMUS, FARABI, etc) signed between Maltepe University and the partner universities. - The objective of the undergraduate programme in guidance and counselling is to bring up individuals who will be aware of the problems in society, have a critical point of view and a capacity of doing research, caring about solutions and evaluating the results.
- Therefore, they will not only have a chance to take effective roles in setting up the future but also will be able to catch the opportunity to find satisfactory jobs in the working fields such as universities, education and research centres, health, law and security both in private and state sectors.
