- Seramik sanatını farklı disiplinlerle düşünerek, çağdaş sanatın gereklerine uygun yüzeysel ve üç boyutlu yapıtlar üretebilme.
- Seramik bünye ve sır teknolojilerinin bilimsel alandaki yeniliklerini izleme ve kullanabilme.
- Sanatın tarihsel gelişimi, değişimi, sosyal ve ekonomik yapıyla olan ilişkisini kurabilme ve estetik beğeni düzeyini geliştirebilme.
- İçinde yaşadığı toplumun seramik sanatı anlayışını çağdaş boyuta ve evrensel değerlere ulaştırabilme.
