- Seramik alanıyla ilgili uygulamalara yönelik yeterli donanıma sahip olma ve bunu kullanabilme.
- Alanıyla ilgili araştırma, deney, proje uygulama, sonuçlarını analiz edebilme, yorumlayabilme ve etkin bir şekilde sunabilme.
- Tasarım ve tasarlama süreci dâhilinde bir yapıtı ya da ürünü seramik malzeme ile ortaya çıkarma becerisi.

- Başarı notu (DC),(FF),(DZ) ve (YZ) olan dersler başarısız olup, açıldıkları ilk yarıyılda tekrar edilir.
- Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Bünyesinde yer alan Seramik Bölümü’ne kayıt yaptırmak isteyen öğrenci öncelikle ön kayıt için gerekli olan Yükseköğretime Geçiş Sınavı (YGS) Puan türlerinin herhangi birinden (YGS-1, YGS-2, YGS-3,YGS-4,YGS-5,YGS-6) en az 140 puan almak zorundadır.
- Özel Yetenek Sınavları ile öğrenci alan Güzel Sanatlar Fakültemizin iki aşamalı yetenek sınavlarında başarılı olan öğrenciler kesin kayıt yaptırma hakkına sahip olurlar.
Seramik bölümünden mezun olan öğrenciler, seramik endüstrisinin her türlü üretim ve tasarım alanlarında çalışabilecekleri gibi, özel ve resmi kurumların seramik atölyelerinde, bilgisayar destekli tasarım ve ürün geliştirme birimlerinde, akademik ve sanat eğitimi programlarında çalışma imkânı bulabilirler.

To be able research, make experiments, apply projects, analize results, make interpretations and perform active presentations related with his field. To obtain skills to design and expose the work or product with ceramics materials within the designing period. To have extensive knowledge about history of art and basic concepts and be able to analize periodical stylized technical specialties. Be able to follow national and international artistic and technological developments and adapt them to applications in ceramics field. Be able to develop solutions to artistic and design matters and technical problems; have an active role in ceramics industry. Be able to follow up the innovations related to his field and apply them in working field. Be able to form relation between diciplines and be able to widen his working field in this direction. Within the light of his knowledge, be able to perform critical, creative and independent thinking and be able to form qualified and original works in this direction.
