- Sivil havacılığa yönelik bütün terimleri kavrar Havayollarında operasyonda kabin içi hizmetle alakalı işleyişin ulusal ve uluslararası kuruluşlar tarafından belirtilen standartlar doğrultusunda yapılmasını sağlamak,
- Sivil havacılık sektöründe faaliyet gösteren kuruluşlarda kurum kültürüne uygun olarak, kurum içerisinde iş arkadaşlarına ve hizmet alıcılara karşı, bilgi ve görüşlerini sözlü ve yazılı aktarabilmek ,
- Havayolu taşımacılığında havacılık emniyeti ve havacılık güvenliği hakkında bilgi sahibi olabilmek,
- Kabin hizmetleri konusunda bilgi sahibi olur ,
- Havayolu işletmelerinin paydaşlarının kimler olduğunu açıklayabilmek,
- Alanında gerekli olan yabancı dil bilgisi seviyesini kazanabilmek,
- Havacılık sektörü ile alakalı olarak çevre bilinci, iş sağlığı ve güvenliği konularında yeterli bilince sahip olmak ,
- Bireysel ve takım olarak çalışabilmek ve sorumluluk alabilmek ,
- Alanında bilişim teknolojilerini etkin kullanabilmek
- Öğrenciler, her ders için ara sınav ve yarıyıl sonu sınavına tabi tutulurlar. Başarı notuna, ara sınavın katkısı % 40, yarıyıl sonu sınavının katkısı %60 şeklindedir. Tüm sınavlar 100 puan üzerinden değerlendirilir. Yarıyıl sonu sınavından en az 45 puan alma zorunluluğu vardır. Bir dersten AA, BA, BB, CB ve CC harf notlarından birini alan öğrenciler o dersi başarmış sayılır.
- Ayrıca, bir yarıyıla ait not ortalaması en az 2 olan öğrenciler, DC harf notu aldıkları derslerden de başarılı sayılır. Öğrenciler, her yarıyılın sonunda, o yarıyıla ait en çok iki dersten bütünleme sınavına girebilir. Programda mevcut olan toplam 120 AKTS karşılığı derslerin tümünü başarıyla tamamlayan ve 4.00 üzerinden en az 2.00 ağırlıklı not ortalaması elde eden öğrenciler mezun olmaya hak kazanırlar.
- Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM) tarafından yapılan YKS sınavından başarılı olmak.
- Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin kabul koşulları her akademik yılın başlangıcında üniversitenin web sayfasında ilan edilmektedir.
- Ayrıca öğrencinin Sivil Havacılık Genel Müdürlüğü’nce onaylı hastanelerden Uçuşa Elverişlilik raporuna sahip olması ve kabin memuru olmaya engel bir sağlık veya fiziksel (boy, kilo, dövme vb.) probleme sahip olmaması gerekemektedir.
Kabin Hizmetleri bölüm mezunları sadece havayollarında kabin memuru olarak görev yapabilmektedirler.
