- Öğrenci,Öğrencileri siyaset bilimi ve kamu yönetimi alanlarındaki temel teorik ve kavramsal tartışmalardan haberdar etmek.
- Öğrencilerin eleştirel ve analitik düşünme becerileri kullanarak ulusal ve uluslararası siyasi, yönetimsel, sosyal ve ekonomik sorunları tartışabilmelerini sağlamak.
- Öğrencilerin siyaset bilimi ile diğer disiplinler arasındaki ilişkileri dikkate aldıkları disiplinlerarası bir bakış açısı geliştirmelerine yardımcı olmak.
- Öğrencilere proje, rapor ve makaleleri yazabilme, sunma, tartışma, nitel ve nicel araştırma yöntemlerini uygulama becerisi kazandırmak.
- Hem kamu hem de özel sektörde çalışmak için gerekli olan bilgi, araştırma yetenekleri ve dil becerilerine ve ayrıca lisansüstü çalışmalarını sürdürecek eğitim geçmişine sahip olmalarını sağlamak.
- Öğrencileri siyaset bilimi ve kamu yönetimi alanlarında bilimsel araştırma yürütürken izleyecekleri etik değerlerle tanıştırmak.

Bu program İngilizce olarak sunulmaktadır. Program, önkoşulu olmayan bir ve/ya iki dönemlik teorik ve uygulamalı dersleri içerir. Eğitmenler yazılı sınavlar, kısa sınavlar, projeler ve sunumlar gibi çeşitli değerlendirme yöntemlerini kullanabilir.
ÖSYM (Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi) tarafından gerçekleştirilen merkezi sınav sonucuna göre öğrenciler kabul edilir.
Mezunlarımız akademik kariyer yapmanın ve devlet kurumlarında görev alabilmenin yanında uluslararası örgütlerde, siyasi partilerde, medya kuruluşlarında veya uluslararası yapılanmaya sahip özel sektör kuruluşlarında çalışmak gibi birçok seçeneğe sahiptir.

| Further Info | Examination, assessment and grading procedure is mainly based on Social Sciences University of Ankara Education and Training Regulations for Associate and Undergraduate Degrees Depending on the nature of the course various instruments such as midterms, final exams, short exams, presentations, assignments, projects, portfolios and applications may be involved in the assessment process of a semester on condition that students are informed about their weights upon registry. Contribution of these activities to final grading range between 40 % - 60 %. In order to be eligible to take the final exam, a student has to fulfil the attendance requirement of 70 % for theoretical and 80 % for practical courses. Once this requirement is fulfilled, attendance is not required again in case of a failure and retaking that course. Final grading of a course is determined on the basis of semester studies and final exam. Those with certified and officially approved excuses are also given a makeup exam.Students are required to successfully complete all coursework in the curriculum, have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 out of 4.00 and 240 ECTS credits. | |

- Discuss domestic and international political, administrative, social and economic problems by employing critical and analytical thinking skilss.
- Develop an interdisciplinary perspective through which they take into account the interrelations between the political science and other disciplines.
- Write, present and discuss projects, reports, and articles, applying qualitative and quantitative research methods.
