Öğrenme Kazanımları (Tanım)	Siyaset Bilimi ve Kamu Yönetimiyle ilgili kavram, teori ve yaklaşımları bilir, tanımlar ve açıklar. Dünyanın önde gelen siyasal ve idari sistemlerinin, bu sistemdeki süreçlerin ve aktörlerin nasıl çalıştığını bilir, tanımlar ve açıklar. Siyaset Bilimi ve Kamu Yönetimi yazınına (literatür) kapsamlı bir şekilde hakimdir. Türkiye’deki siyasal ve idari sistemlerinin, bu sistemdeki süreçlerin ve aktörlerin nasıl çalıştığını bilir, tanımlar ve açıklar. Siyaset Bilimi ve Kamu Yönetimi eğitiminden edindiği bilgilerle güncel siyasal sorunları tespit eder ve alternatif çözümler üretir. Yaşam boyu eğitimi ilke edinmiş ilgili ve bilgili yurttaşlar olarak daha demokratik bir toplum için gerekli olan pozitif gelişmeleri formüle ve teklif eder, taraftarı olur. Bu bağlamda çeşitlilik arzeden halk için farkındalık ve duyarlılık içindedir. Kanıta dayalı ikna edici savları inşa edebilmek için gerekli olan veriyi ya da kanıtı toplamanın yöntemlerini öğrenir ve kullanır. Oluşturduğu bu savları yazılı ve sözlü olarak Türkçe ve İngilizce olarak sunar. Toplu ve bireysel olarak takım ve proje gruplarında etkin bir biçimde çalışabilecek yetenek, bilgi ve beceriye sahiptir.

As engaged and informed citizens who has adopted life-long learning as a principle, be able to formulate, propose and advocate a positive change towards a democratic polity and demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to a diverse society. Acquire and use the skills needed in evidence-based reasoning to identify the appropriate data or evidence necessary to construct a convincing argument and be able to communicate these arguments in oral and written form both in Turkish and English. Acquire the necessary skills, knowledge and competencies to work effectively in teams and project groups individually or collectively.

Access Requirements	The process of acceptance of the students in the program is carried out by the Student Selection and Placement System (ÖSYS) by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). In addition, the acceptance of foreign students is carried out by a quota framework according to the results of a central examination called Foreign Student Examination (YÖS). In addition to the above mentioned points, in case of quota allocation, students can be accepted by horizontal transfer depending on basis concerning regulations.
Conditions for Success	In order to graduate, students must complete 240 ECTS with a cumulative GPA of 60 over 100.
Progression Paths (Relationship Type)	Graduates of the Political Science and Public Administration program can work in public and private sector as well in think thanks and non-state organizations.
