Program Profili (Amaç)
Sondaj Teknolojisi Programı; Sondaj uygulamaları alanında, almış olduğu bilgi ile beceriyi uygulama alanında başarı ile sergileyecek ve sondajcılık alanında eksikliği hissedilen kalifiye eleman ihtiyacını karşılayacak teknik eleman yetiştirmektir.
İkinci öğretim olarak da eğitim sağlamaktadır.

Öğrenme Kazanımları (Tanım)
- Türk Dili, Yabancı Dil ve Atatürk İlkeleri konusunda bilinçli ve İnkılâp Tarihi konusunda bilgi sahibidir.
- Temel matematik, jeoloji ve fen bilimleri ile temel teknik konularda yeterli altyapıya sahip olarak, bu alandaki kuramsal ve uygulamalı bilgileri meslek alanlarındaki problemlerin çözümleri için beraber kullanabilir.
- Sondaj teknikerliği konusu olan problemleri saptama, tanımlama, formüle etme ve çözme becerisi ile bu amaca uygun yöntemler ve teknikleri seçme ve uygulama becerisine sahiptir.
- Sondaj uygulamalarında gerekli olan modern teknik ve araçları seçme ve kullanma becerisi ile bilişim teknolojilerini ve özel ihtisas gerektiren bazı mesleki paket programları etkin kullanabilir.
- Temel mühendislik konularında deney tasarlama, deney yapma, deney sonuçlarını analiz etme ve yorumlayarak sonuca varma becerisine sahiptir.
- Sondaj teknolojisi alanındaki temel ilkeleri kavrarİş hayatında, mesleki ve etik sorumluluk bilincine sahiptir ve öğrenme felsefesinin gereğini yerine getirir.
- Verilen bir konu hakkında toplum önünde fikirlerini savunacak özgüvene ve mesleki donanıma sahiptir.
- Ayrıca İngilizce olarak kendini ifade edebilir.
