| Giriş Şartı | Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Tezli Yüksek Lisans Programına başvuru yapmak isteyen adaylar lisans diplomasına sahip olmalı veya koşullu ön kabul için lisans öğrenimlerinin son yarıyılında öğrenci olmalıdır. Bu koşulu sağlayan adaylar sınavına girmek istedikleri programı belirten dilekçeye öğrenim durumlarını gösteren belgeyi ve ilgili yönetim kurulunca istenen diğer belgeleri ekleyerek süresi içinde Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsüne başvururlar. Tezli Yüksek lisans programına öğrenci kabulünde; ALES puanı ile gerektiğinde lisans not ortalaması ve mülakat sonucu değerlendirmeye alınır. Bu değerlendirmeye ilişkin hususlar ile mülakat değerlendirme usulleri, başvuru için adaylardan istenen diğer belgeler ve bu belgelerin başarı notuna etkileri, asgari başarı notu, adayların girebilecekleri yabancı dil sınavları ve asgari dil puanı, ilgili Enstitü Kurulunun önerisi üzerine Senato tarafından belirlenir ve bu konular yapılacak ilanda belirtilir. Yeni kurulan üniversitelerde görevli araştırma görevlileri, ilgili üniversitenin teklifi, Öğretim Üyesi ve Araştırıcı Yetiştirme Kurulunun görüşü ve Yükseköğretim Kurulunun kararı ile yeniden değerlendirmeye tabi tutulmadan, lisansüstü öğrenim görmek üzere görevlendirilebilir. Yurtdışından Başvuru Yapmak İçin: Yurt dışında ikamet eden Türk ve yabancı uyruklu adayların lisansüstü programlara kontenjan dâhilinde kabullerinde ilgili Yönetmelik hükümleri uygulanır. Yabancı uyruklu adayların başvurdukları lisansüstü programı izleyebilecekleri kadar Türkçe Dilbilgisi yeterliliğinin nasıl değerlendirileceğine ilgili Yönetim Kurulu karar verir. NOT: Kabul ve kayıt koşulları her dönem için ayrıca ilan edilmektedir. | |
| Başarma Şartları | Programa kayıtlı öğrenciler mezun olabilmek için bazı şartları yerine getirmiş olmalıdır. Bu şartlardan biri şöyledir: Öğrencilerin müfredat programında yer alan teorik derslere en az % 70, uygulamalı derslere ise en az % 80 oranında devam etmiş olmaları gerekmektedir. Devam konusu ilgili anabilim dalı başkanlığınca izlenir ve ilgili Müdürlük tarafından denetlenir. Her öğretim elemanı yarıyıl sonunda devam şartını yerine getirmemiş öğrencileri Sosyal Bilimler Enstitü Müdürlüğü’ne bildirir. Devam şartı yerine getirilmiş ders ve uygulamaların tekrarı halinde yeniden devam şartının aranıp aranmayacağı ilgili Kurul tarafından belirlenir. Teorik ve pratik derslere devam etme şartını yerine getirmiş olan öğrenciler, derslerine devam ettikleri yılın her iki dönemi için 1 ara sınava ve 1 final sınavına girerler. Başarı notu ara sınavın %40'ı, final sınavının %60'ı alınarak belirlenir. Bazı derslerin değerlendirilmesi sadece bu sınavlarla değil, ödev ve projelerle yapılabilmektedir. Derslere devam eden öğrencilerin yapılan sınavlardan toplamda 100 puan üzerinden en az 65 puan alması gerekmektedir. Bir dersin başarı notu Senato tarafından belirlenen esaslara göre harfli başarı notuna ve başarı katsayısına dönüştürülür. Uygulamalı derslerde uygulamanın ağırlığı ilgili Kurulca kararlaştırılır. Öğrenciler Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Tezli Yüksek Lisans Programından mezun olabilmek için GNO (Genel Not Ortalaması) en az 2,5 olmalıdır. Bu puanın altında olan öğrenciler tez dönemine geçemezler. Tezini bitiren öğrenciler danışmanlarına teslim ederler. En geç iki ay içinde danışmanlarının ve jürinin katıldığı, enstitü hoca ve öğrencilerinin katılımına açık bir savunma ile tezlerini savunurlar. Tezini teslim edip, GNO’su en az 2,5 olan öğrencilerimiz mezun olmaya hak kazanır. | |
| İlerleme Yolları (İlişki Türü) | Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Tezli Yüksek Lisans Programından mezun olan öğrenciler, ilköğretim okullarında sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni olarak çalışabilmektedir. Mezun olan öğrenciler ayrıca sosyal bilgiler öğretiminin kapsamına giren Demokrasi ve Vatandaşlık Eğitimi dersi ile Türkiye Cumhuriyeti, İnkılâp Tarihi ve Atatürkçülük dersi gibi dersleri verebilmektedir. Öğrencilerimiz genellikle bir ilköğretime öğretmen ya da bir üniversiteye araştırma görevlisi olarak atandıktan sonra yüksek lisansa başlamış ya da lisansı yeni bitirip herhangi bir işe başlamadan yüksek lisansa başlamış olan bireylerden oluşmaktadır. Bu öğrencilerimiz henüz mezun olmadan üniversitemizde yarı zamanlı bir görevde, ilköğretim öğrencilerinin eğitimini desteklemeye yönelik faaliyet gösteren dershanelerde, Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı resmi ya da özel ilköğretim okullarında öğretmen ya da üniversitelerde Araştırma Görevlisi olarak çalışma imkânı bulmaktadır. Midterm grade may be given not only as a result of written and / or oral examination but given assignments and / or the students participation in the class. | Conditions for Success | Social Studies Teacher Thesis Master Program’s students must have completed successfully theoretical and practical work within the context of their courses for providing qualifications.Students enrolled in the program must fulfill certain conditions in order to graduate. One of the conditions is as follows: Students enrolled in Social Studies Teacher Thesis Master Program must continue to at least 70% of theoretical courses, and 80% of practical application courses in the curriculum. The class attendance has monitored by the Department and supervised by the Directorate of Institute. Each faculty member notifies students who did not satisfy the requirements for continued to the Institute at the end of each semester. Repeating the courses if continue requirements have, condition of continued whether re-searched again determined by Board. Students who have fulfilled the condition to continue theoretical and practical classes, enter a mid-term exam and 1 final exam in each academic period. The effect of midterm exam on success score is 40% but final exam on it is 60%. Assessment of some courses are not only those examinations but also assignments and projects can be made. To be successful in a credit course, students’ pass mark must have at least 65 points a total of 100 points over. The grade of a course are converted to letter grades coefficient of success according to the rules specified by the Senate. In the applied courses, the weight of the application is determined by the relevant Board. for Social Studies Teacher Education Masters graduate, GPA (GPA) must be at least 2.5. Students with scores below this period do not pass the thesis. Students, who completed the work, submit the thesis to advisors. They defended thesis with a defense attended by consultants and jury, sometimes, participation of teachers and students of the institute. They entitled to graduate if they submit their theses and have the average grade being at least 2,5. | |

They can work as a teacher of Democracy and Citizenship Education and Principles and The history of Turkish Renovation courses within the scope of the teaching social studies in the primary schools or private courses. As these courses are both in the curriculum of public schools and private schools, business area of our graduates is wide. Our students typically consist of individuals who started the program after assigned to primary schools as a teacher or assigned to the university as a research assistant or individuals who have started master program without of any work after finished the license program yet. These students find an opportunity to work as a researcher, student assistant or teacher. For example they can work in different part of the university as a part-time working student or in a course promoting education in primary school students’ classrooms activities and in a public or private elementary schools under the Ministry of National Education as a teacher, or they can find a job as a research assistant at the university if they fulfill the requirements. If not possible finding jobs in their study field, they can find jobs as a clerk in the state institution required condition of being a 4-year baccalaureate degree. These people can pass their own areas five years after through transition between institutions defined in the rules of law. Graduates who possess the necessary conditions may be assigned the universities in Turkey as a research assistant. | |
