- Spor yönetimi ile ilgili faaliyetlerin düzenlenmesi konusunda temel becerilere sahip olabilmek, uygulayabilmek ve bu faaliyetlerin değerlendirmesini yapabilmek,
- Spor yönetimi ile ilgili uygulama plan ve programlarını bilerek, bu plan ve programlar ile ilgili görev ve sorumlulukların farkına varabilmek,
- Spor pazarlaması, halkla ilişkiler, etkinlik yönetimi ve spor tesisleri vb. alanlarda çalışabilme öz yeterliliği kazanabilmek ,
- Spor bilimleri alanında gerekli olan bilgi ve becerilere sahip olma,
- Spor yönetimi alanında yaratıcılık yeteneğini kazandırmak ve bir alanında kısmen uzmanlaşmak.
- Her ders için en az bir ara sınav yapılmaktadır. Öğrencilerin aldıkları derslerden başarılı olup olmadıkları bir ara sınav, bir dönem sonu sınavı olmak üzere iki aşamada değerlendirmeye tâbi tutulmaktadır. Ara sınavlar dışında kısa sınavlar, projeler ve öğretim elemanının uygun gördüğü diğer faaliyetler yapılabilir.
- Bu faaliyetlerin sayısı ve başarı notuna katkısı öğretim elemanı tarafından ders planında belirtilir. Geçme notu tespit edilirken, ara sınav % 40, dönem sonu sınavı da % 60 oranında etkili olmaktadır. Tüm sınavlar 100 puan üzerinden değerlendirilmektedir. Başarı notu bağıl değerlendirme sistemi uygulanarak harf notuna dönüştürülür.
- Programda mevcut olan (toplam 120 AKTS karşılığı) derslerin tümünü başarıyla tamamlamak ve 4.00 üzerinden en az 2.00 ağırlıklı not ortalamasına sahip olmak, mezuniyet için gerekli yeterlilik koşuludur.
- Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM) tarafından yapılan ÖSYS sınavından başarılı olmak.
- Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin kabul koşulları her akademik yılın başlangıcında üniversitenin web sayfasında ilan edilmektedir.
- Spor Yönetimi Ön lisans Programını başarı ile tamamlayan mezunlar, özel ve kamu sektöründe çalışma fırsatı elde edebilmektedir. Bu programın mezunları spor kulüpleri ve gençlik ve spor müdürlüklerinde istihdam edilebilmektedir.
- Ayrıca, bu program mezunları pazarlama, halkla ilişkiler, insan kaynakları, finans, yönetim, sponsorluk ve etkinlik yönetim departmanlarında çalışabilmektedir.
