• Acquire a sound grounding in the fundamental concepts, approaches to and theories of the discipline of International Relations; draw on this pool of knowledge in the analysis of historical and contemporary developments.
• Develop a sound understanding of the historical forces behind the development of national, regional and international institutions and organizations, their structures and functions, and their role in the larger international system.
• Develop the ability to describe, explain and analyze political, economic, legal, historical and social dynamics that underpin important international developments.
• Develop the basic skills necessary to understand the functioning of national and international economic systems and their complex relationship to international politics within the framework of economics and business sciences.
• Develop the ability for critical and independent thinking, conduct creative projects of inquiry; communicate ideas effectively in written and oral format both in English.
• To be able to develop the necessary personality traits and ethical principles as required in the world of diplomacy and international relations in general and in bussiness sector.
• Be an open-minded individual who is aware of and sensitive to issues with regard to human rights, fundamental freedoms, and cultural diversity; do their best to engage in volunteer work in social welfare projects.
• Master the theoretical and practical aspects of rigorous scientific research, and based on this mastery, to develop the ability to present, both in oral and written form, the findings of a scientific research project in English.
• Develop up-to-date computer skills.
• Develop a sound grasp of basic mathematics and statistics taught at basic level; acquire the skills necessary to make meaning out of statistical data and to be able to use in projects.

(1) During a semester, for each class the students are given at least one mid-term and one final exam. The instructor can assess assignments, projects, laboratory, and likewise studies as a mid-term exam. Generally the final exam has to be a written exam. In special circumstances an oral or oral-verbal exam can be conducted by the approval of the board of directors of the relevant faculty/vocational school. For scoring final grades, all examination scores and other semester studies are taken into account.

(2) For calculating the final grades of students, final exam’s the percentage cannot be under 40% nor more than 60%. Studies within the semester and final examination’s percentage on final grade are announced to students at the beginning of the semester. *See for more information the related individual course unit description. (Form 2C)The students who complete all the courses (240 ECTS) in the registered program with success within the regulations of this code; whose GPA is equal to or above 2.00; who complete the minimum number of required credit of the registered program, the cultural development seminars and the internship duties have a right to get a diploma. Students who are unable to complete their undergraduate degree, but completed all the required and elective courses of the first four semesters and the required courses of the university within the regulations of this code and whose GPA is at least 2.00 have a right to get an associate degree diploma according to the related legislation provisions and the Council of Higher Education.

Foreign Student Admission: High School Exit Exam ratified by Higher Education Council (Abitur, International Baccalaureate, GCE, Tawjihi, etc.) or the exams taken in the last two years and considered equivalent to University Entrance Exam (SAT, EFS, etc.), High School Diploma.
