Further Info | The M. S. Applied Physics Program of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at the Atılım University has been established and started in the academic year 2015-2016. In the framework of the program, behind the core physics courses, there are many elective courses offered to the students as modelling physics, solid state physics, biophysics, modern optics, photonics and and particle physics. The well equipped Biophysics and Hall Effect Measuring Laboraties in the Department give to the garduate students advanced research possibilities. In accordance to developments of the new graduate program, it is aimed to build up new research laboratories using TÜBİTAK and University funds. The language of instruction is English.

Access Requirements | Acceptance to MS program is done in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Institute of Graduate School of Natural and applied Sciences (Item No:5). Foreign students are accepted to the program either by their scores on internationally recognized exams such as SAT and ACT, or by their high school graduation grades. The acceptance of exchange students is based on the agreements (Erasmus or General Academic Protocols) between Atilim University and the exchange partner university. The following rules apply for the acceptance of foreign students to MS programs:

Conditions for Success | To graduate from the program, the student has to achieve a minimum of 3.00 out of 4.00 Grade Point Average and has to pass all of the courses in the curriculum with a minimum of CC/S/EX grade (Atilim University Student Admission, two-year and Undergraduate Education Rules And Regulations, Article 18, Article 25). A minimum of 120 ECTS credits have to be earned for graduation. In addition, the students have to give a seminar and complete a thesis in the program with Thesis option, and a Graduation Project in the program with Non-thesis option. | |
