• Students are assessed during the semester and at the end of the semester.

• The course grade is obtained by evaluating the students achievement during the semester, such as midterm exams, applied studies, assignments, and the final exam.
• The achievement grade of the student is calculated by adding 30% of the midterm exams or 70% of the midterm exams and 60% of the midterm exams.
• The fractions are preserved in the calculation of these ratios, but in the calculation of the success grade, the fractional numbers are completed to the nearest whole number.
• In the evaluation of the course success, a system of 100 is used.

• It is stipulated by the institute that the number of courses taken from other higher education institutions can not be exceeded by nine credits, but how much can be counted as a minimum of 21 credits.
• Students who successfully complete their courses are taken to the proficiency exam.
• If this examination is successful, the thesis proposal is presented in front of the jury. He presents the progress of his thesis for six months and the results to the thesis supervision committee.
• The seminar and thesis work is non-credit based on local credit system and is evaluated as successful or unsuccessful.
• The student must write the results of the thesis related to the thesis writing rules of the related institute and defend his thesis verbally in front of the jury.
• After the completion of the thesis examination, the jury decides acceptance, rejection or correction of the thesis with absolute majority.
• A student who has been given a decision to amend the thesis is required to do so within six months at the latest and defend his thesis again in front of the same jury.
• At the end of this defense, the student who is not accepted as a thesis is deleted.

Students who complete the Department of Animal Science PhD program carry out their professions as specialist Zootechnists. These graduates are preferred directly to Research Institutes as they can pass academic life in universities. In addition, widespread employment is possible in Cattle Farming, Poultry Farming and Other Livestock Farms. Particularly, they are the sought-after elements in the Private Sector establishments doing project based business.
