• Know the role of social, political, philosophical, and historical forces in the formation of educational policies, programs and practices for young children at both national and international scale.
• Know how to develop, implement, and assess developmentally appropriate and culturally relevant curriculum to meet the individual needs of all children.
• Keep properly the records, documents, and reports that are required in the educational process.
• Use multiple sources of information to know children and varied assessment techniques to monitor and evaluate the progress of children.
• Show the ability to design and undertake studies related to preschool education.
• Engage themselves in a continuous process of critically examining their classroom practices and taken for granted assumptions.
• Act in accord with the rights and responsibilities of a preschool teacher.
• Create a healthy and safe environment that is responsive to the characteristics and needs of all children.
• Show the ability to communicate contemporary developments in their field and their own work systematically to colleagues and the community in verbal, written, or visual form. Be a life long learner who shows an awareness of the need for continuous personal and professional development.

According to the contents of classes 1 or 2 midterms, projects, assignments, presentations with a final exam.

Students, the Student Selection Examination (ÖSS) with the selected. Language of instruction is Turkish. Each year the department recorded an average of 50 students have done.

Graduates are working official and private preschools as preschool teachers. In addition, they are working in the private sector of the field.
