Başarma ŞartlarıÖğrencilerin dört yarıyılda toplam 120 AKTS krediyi ve stajı (30 iş günü olacak şekilde) başarılı bir şekilde tamamlamış olmaları gerekmektedir.

Mezun öğrencilerimiz Orman Genel Müdürlüğü ile Orman ve Su İşleri Bakanlığı’na bağlı kurumlarda, özel sektörde; Mobilya, Kereste, Emprenye, Levha ve Kağıt Endüstrilerinde, Odun Dışı Orman Ürünleri Sektöründe çalışma imkanı bulabilmektedir.

  • Can understand at the basic level all the ecological units that forests and the relationships and interactions between these units.
  • Gains knowledge and sensitivity in environmental and occupational safety issues within the ethical responsibility of the forestry profession.
  • Can intervene to forest by ecosystem-based interventions for the maintenance and improvement of existing forests and the creation of new forest areas.
  • Can understand national and international forestry policies, laws and obligations.
  • May apply techniques to protect the ecosystem's existence and nature against biotic and abiotic threats.
  • Gains the ability to use computing technologies, measurement-calculation and analysis tools. May follow up-to-date developments in ecological, economic and social aspects of forestry and may use this information for the benefit of national forestry.
  • Gains the ability to assess the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field with a critical approach, to identify and meet learning needs. Uses the knowledge and skills which they have to identify, analyze, and develop solutions to problems in the field at a general scale.

Graduated students are able to work in goverment institution such as General Directorate of Forestry, institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs also they can work in the private sector such as Furniture Industry, Timber Industry, Impregnation Industry, Panel Industry, Paper Industry, Non-Wood Forest Products Sector.
