Makine ve ekipmanların kontrolünü yaparak, maske, hasta pozisyon kalıbı, kurşun blok, hastayı tedavi ve simülasyona hazırlama işlemleriyle, ışın tedavisi ve simülasyon yapma bilgi ve becerisine sahip nitelikli sağlık teknikeri yetiştirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır.

- Radyoterapi için gereken mesleksel becerileri uygular.
- Temel anatomiyi bilir. Tıbbi görüntüleme sistemlerini kullanır ve çekilen görüntüleri değerlendirir.
