Tarihsel ve kültürel boyutu zengin olan seramik alanında günümüz teknolojisini kullanarak sanatsal ve endüstriyel özgün tasarımlar yapabilen bireyler yetiştirmeyi hedeflemektedir.
- Fikir ve sanat eserleri alanlarında mesleki ve etik sorumluluk bilinci.
- Sanat, tasarım ve seramik alanına yönelik donanıma sahip olma ve edindiği bilgileri uygulamayabilme.
- Araştırma, deneyimleme, analiz, değerlendirme ve yorumlama becerisi.
- Sanat ve tasarım sorunlarını belirleme tanımlama ve çözme becerisi.

| Conditions for Success | Students must be successful in compulsory and elective courses that must be taken every semester from the Undergraduate Program. In this program, the student must have a minimum of 240 ECTS credits and a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 GPA. | |
| Progression Paths (Relationship Type) | Students who graduate from the ceramic department have the opportunity to develop themselves in the artistic, technological and industrial areas according to their elective course preferences. While students who choose the artistic field continue to work on their projects freely in the workshop environment, those who have developed themselves in the field of technology find job opportunities in the ceramic industry such as R&D Laboratory, Masse / Clay /Glaze Preparation. Students who choose industrial area, as a result of their expertise on; computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM), as well as industrial ceramic design, model making, mold making, they can find job opportunities in porcelain, vitreous and tile ceramic industry, Design Application, Decor Design, R & D and product development, may rise to the manager position in the ceramic sector. They can also teach in their own fields and work as academicians and artists in Higher Education Institutions by making an academic career. | |
