• Have a basic understanding of the technical, theoretical and historical aspects and developments of film and television.
• Understand the the oretical/technical terminology in the field.
• Have the ability to transform written or visual ideas into a film or atelevision project through creative processes and expressing them in an original manner.
• Have the ability to develop stories into scripts in accordance with cinema to graphic and dramatic narrative.
• Have the ability to plan, design and execute pre-production processes regarding film and television.
• Manage a standard television studio, along with the ability to design and execute the processes regarding live television programming.
• Direct the production, shooting and manufacturing processes of film and television.
• Design, execure and complete/finalize post-production processes regarding film and television.
• Use production and post-production hardware unique to the field of film and television at a basic level.
• Execute the production activities required for the realization of film and television productions in a productive, creative and problem-solving manner.
• Follow technological developments unique to the field of film and television and havethe ability to work in an adaptive fashion with the unique characteristics of new media.
• Analyze a film, script or television program from technical, aesthetic and ideologic standpoints.
• Develop a critical view of media products and the ability to provide unique interpretations.
• Possess general cultural knowledge required to establish a subject for film and television production and the ability to gain access to the information required.
• Evaluate film and television works from a cultural studies aspect.
• Have knowledge regarding research methods in the field and utilize sources and technologies.
• Execute interdisciplinary work processes, conduct work as a team member regarding applications in the field and capable of taking responsibilities.
• be aware of laws, regulations, legislation and statutes in the field and acts accordingly.
• Follow knowledge in the field and communicate with colleagues in a foreign language at least at a european language portfolio B1 base level.
• Utilize software and ICTs in the field at a minimum of the european advanced computer use license level and utilize ICT.
• Work with an awareness towards life-long learning.
• Transform written/visual ideas into a film or television project.

A variety of assessment methods such as mid-term(s), assignment(s), exercise(s), project(s), practice(s), and a final exam are implemented in the programme. Assessment methods may include classical test(s), multiple-choice test(s), homework(s), performance evaluation(s), and product evaluation(s). In order to graduate from the programme, cumulative GPA must be minimum 2.00. A course grade is constituted by evaluating the above stated elements and given by using letters.
