| Kalite Güvencesi | Yükseköğretim programlarının niteliğinin gözetilmesi için; YÖK, yükseköğretim kurumlarında gerçekleştirilen eğitim ve öğretimle diğer faaliyetlerin planlanması, düzenlenmesi, yönetilmesi ve denetiminden sorumludur. YÖK tarafından belirlenen kriterler çerçevesinde her yıl hazırlanan yükseköğretim kurumlarına ait “Üniversite İzleme ve Değerlendirme Raporları” yayımlanır. | Başarma Şartları | Doktora programı, bilimsel hazırlıkta geçen süre hariç tezli yüksek lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için kayıt olduğu programa ilişkin derslerin verildiği dönemden başlamak üzere, her dönem için kayıt yaptırıp yaptırmadığına bakılmaksızın 8 yarıyıl olup azami tamamlama süresi 12 yarıyıl; lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için 10 yarıyıl olup azami tamamlama süresi 14 yarıyıldır. Doktora programı, en az 3 yarıyıl teze kayıtlı olmak ve tüm yükümlülükleri yerine getirmek koşuluyla 8 yarıyıldan daha kısa sürede tamamlanabilir. (2) Doktora programı için gerekli dersleri başarıyla tamamlamanın azami süresi; yüksek lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için dört yarıyıl, lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için altı yarıyıldır. (3) Kredili derslerini başarıyla bitiren, yeterlik sınavında başarılı bulunan ve tez önerisi kabul edilen, ancak tez çalışmasını birinci fıkrada belirtilen 12 veya 14 yarıyıl sonuna kadar tamamlayamayan öğrencinin Üniversite ile ilişiği kesilir. (4) Doktora programı için gerekli kredili dersleri başarıyla tamamlamanın azami süresi tezli yüksek lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için dört yarıyıl, lisans derecesi ile kabul edilenler için altı yarıyıldır. Bu süre içinde kredili derslerini başarıyla tamamlayamayan veya Üniversitenin öngördüğü en az genel not ortalamasını sağlayamayan öğrencinin Üniversite ile ilişiği kesilir. - İstinye Üniversitesi Sinirbilim doktora programı farklı disiplinlerden gelen öğrencilere beyin ve davranış alanında araştırmalar yapmak için gereken teorik ve pratik bilgiyi sağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Sinir sistemini farklı açılardan ele alan ders içeriğiyle öğrencilerin eğitimleri boyunca edindikleri bilgiyi kendi araştırmalarında etik sorumluluk bilinciyle kullanmaları hedeflenmektedir. Uzman eğitim kadromuz ve araştırma merkezimizin sağladığı teknik alt yapıyla alandaki son bilimsel gelişmelerin ışığında sinirbilim alanında yeni fikirler üretecek öğrencilerin yetişmesi programın hedeflerindendir.
- Enstitü; tasarladıkları lisansüstü çalışmalarını; tezli yüksek lisans, tezsiz yüksek lisans, doktora ve sanatta yeterlik programlarını örgün eğitim ve/veya uzaktan eğitim modeli ile gerçekleştirir.
1 - Bilgi Kuramsal - Olgusal
- Sinirbilimlerin temel kavramlarını tanımlayabilme, beynin nörofizyolojik işlevlerini ve nöroanatomik yapılarını, santral sinir sisteminin fonksiyonel organizasyonunu ve normal işleyişindeki temel prensipleri anlayabilme ve ifade edebilme.
- Nörolojik ve psikiyatrik hastalıkların etiyopatogenezleri hakkında teorik bilgiye sahip olabilme ve bu hastalıklardaki nörolojik ve bilişsel bozulmalar ile santral sinir sistemi patolojisi bilgisine hakim olma.

- Elektronöromiyografi, elektroensefalografi, uyarılmış potansiyeller ve nörogörüntüleme yöntemleri gibi nörolojik ve psikiyatrik hastalıklarda kullanılan radyolojik ve elektrofizyolojik araştırma ve inceleme yöntemleri, transkraniyel nöromodülasyon yöntemleri hakkında temel kuramsal bilgiye sahip olabilme ve çalışma alanı doğrultusunda bu yöntemleri kullanabilme.

- Tıp Fakültesi mezunları ve Sinirbilim yüksek lisans mezunları Bu şartı sağlamayan ancak Fizyoloji, Biyomedikal Mühendisliği, Psikoloji, Biyoloji, Moleküler Biyoloji ve Genetik, Tıbbi Biyoloji, Biyomühendislik, Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon, Dil ve Konuşma Terapisi, Dilbilim, Biyoinformatik ve Elektrik/Elektronik Mühendisliği programlarında yüksek lisans eğitimlerini tamamlamış olan adaylar iki dönemlik Bilimsel Hazırlık eğitimi almalıdır. YÖK is responsible for the planning, organization, management and supervision of education and training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.
"University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions prepared annually within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK are published. The reports prepared according to these reports, including quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.
Every year, YÖK publishes the "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report", which includes academic, administrative and financial data on foundation higher education institutions. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK. Quality assurance of graduate programs in higher education is ensured according to the "Procedures and Principles for Ensuring Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":
1. Creation and Approval of Curricula:
1.1. YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of graduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.
1.2. The curriculum of graduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.
2. Assessment and Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes that each graduate program will provide to the student is carried out according to the education and training and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.
3. Certification: Students enrolled in graduate programs receive a graduate diploma if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions.
4. Self-Assessment-External Evaluation: In the context of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter their "Institutional Internal Evaluation Reports" for the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the "Institutional Feedback Report" prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions issued by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also indicate that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the legislation.
| Faculty of Medicine graduates and Neuroscience master's degree graduates who do not meet this requirement but have the following courses in Physiology, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Medical Biology, Bioengineering, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Language and Speech Therapy, Linguistics, Bioinformatics and Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Candidates who have completed their master's degree programs must take two semesters of Scientific Preparation training. Having received at least 55 points from the ALES numerical score type. | Students who graduate from the doctoral program specialize in the experimental methods used according to the field they study in the thesis (neurophysiology, neuroscience, molecular biology, artificial intelligence, etc.). They can apply for positions opened for neuroscience in various departments of universities, or they can apply to domestic or international universities as postdoctoral researchers. |
